Sanyangites simplex
Taxonomy
Sanyangites simplex was named by Zheng and Ma (1982). Its type specimen is NIGP 54630 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Lucun Section, Bed 10, Yichun County, which is in a Wuchiapingian marine sandstone in the Loping Formation of China.
It was recombined as Araxoceras simplex by Qin (1986) and Leonova (2002).
