Crocodylus thorbjarnarsoni
Taxonomy
Crocodylus thorbjarnarsoni was named by Brochu and Storrs (2012). Its type specimen is KNM-ER 1683, a skull (Skull and lower jaw), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is East Turkana - Area 105 - KBS, which is in a Gelasian/Calabrian fluvial siliciclastic/siltstone in the Koobi Fora Formation of Kenya.
