Taxonomy
Daubichites orientalis was named by Popov (1963). Its type specimen is TsGM 1/8236 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Daubikhe River Basin, Sikhote-Alin Range, Primorye, which is in a Roadian carbonate limestone in the Vladivostok Formation of the Russian Federation.
