Taxonomy
Ammonites (Phylloceras) bicicolae was named by Meneghini (1874).

It was recombined as Phylloceras (Calliphylloceras) bicicolae by Blau and Meister (1991); it was recombined as Calliphylloceras bicicolae by Meister (1989), Alkaya and Meister (1995), Géczy and Meister (1998), Meister and Friebe (2003), Hillebrandt (2006) and Geczy and Meister (2007).
