Posidonia daytonensis

Posidonomya daytonensis was named by Gabb (1864). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is El Dorado Canyon, near Dayton, which is in a Sevatian marine shale in Nevada.
It was recombined as Hemientolium daytonensis by Hyatt (1892); it was recombined as Posidonia daytonensis by Smith (1927).
