Posidonia stella

Taxonomy
Posidonomya stella was named by Gabb (1864). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Star Canon, Humboldt, which is in an Illyrian carbonate limestone in Nevada.

It was recombined as Posidonia stella by Kittl (1912) and Smith (1927).
