Taxonomy
Promathilda (Teretrina) tilarniocensis was named by Haas (1953). Its type specimen is AMNH 27162:10 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Tilacnioc, loc. 48, which is in a Rhaetian marine limestone in Peru.
