Taxonomy
Fascifera was named by Ulrich and Cooper (1942). It is not extant. Its type is Fascifera subcarinata.

It was assigned to Draboviinae by Mitchell (1977) and Williams et al. (2000); and to Orthida by Sepkoski (2002).
