D. F. Wright and A. L. Stigall 2014Genus of Glyptorthidae with shell of variable size (7.68–28.05 mm), subquadrate to subelliptical in outline, with suboval to subquadrate ventral muscle scars. Shell dorsibiconvex to ventribiconvex; ramnicostellate to fascicostellate, sometimes frilled; strong concentric lamellae; rectimarginate to sulcate; delthryium open, triangular; ventral interarea orthocline to catacline; dorsal interarea small, orthocline to apsacline; ventral muscle scars deflect anteriorly, with an additional lateral deflection common; ventral adductor scars sometimes elevated on a raised platform; quadripartite dorsal muscle scars; thickened notothyrial platform; brachiophores divergent.
