Taxonomy
Verbeekiella mersa was named by Hill (1942). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Minilya River, east limb of syncline west of Coolkilya Pool, L-C horizon, which is in a Kungurian coastal siliciclastic in the Wandagee Formation of Australia.
