Thalassemys carva
Taxonomy
Thalassemys carva was named by Nessov (1984). Its type specimen is ZNIGR 1/12086, a carapace (Carapace and plastron remains), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Itemir I, which is in an Albian/Cenomanian terrestrial horizon in Uzbekistan.
It was recombined as Parathalassemys cava by Nessov (1984); it was misspelled as Thalassemys cava by Karl et al. (2012).
