Taxonomy
Trogosita emortua was named by Germar (1849). It is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Orsberg, which is in a MP 30 lacustrine - large shale in the Rott Formation of Germany.
It was recombined as Trogossita emortua by Germar (1849); it was recombined as Tenebroides emortua by Schmied et al. (2009) and Kolibáč (2013).
