Taxonomy
Myonia pollocki was named by Maxwell (1964). Its type specimen is UQ F27089 and is a mold. Its type locality is UQ L1897, Baywulla Station, which is in a Pennsylvanian marine siliciclastic in the Rands Formation of Australia.
