Trachoecus gemmellaroi

Taxonomy
Trachoecus gemmellaroi was named by Kittl (1894). Its type specimen is NHMW 1899/VI/115 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Seelandalpe (Wiener Hofsmuseums coll), which is in a Julian carbonate limestone in the Cassian Formation of Italy. It is the type species of Trachoecus.
