Madden 1997Medium sized advanced Toxodontidae with inferolaterally deep and flaring mandible ramus beneath the molar row in the adult, upper molar F2 fold when present unaffected by wear, upper molar protoloph with enameless lingual column, upper molar metaloph and protoloph in contact lingual to the F2 fold, distally tapering upper M1 and M2 metalophs with slight lingual enamel indentation, and mesiodistally elongated upper third molars.
