Scleromys quadrangulatus
Taxonomy
Scleromys quadrangulatus was named by Kramarz (2006). Its type specimen is MLP 82-VI-3-2, a mandible (Right mandible fragment with complete dentition), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Piso Astrapothericulense, which is in a Colhuehuapian/Santacrucian terrestrial horizon in Argentina.
