Hoferia duplicata

Bivalvia - Cyrtodontida - Pichleriidae

Taxonomy
Lucina duplicata was named by Munster (1837). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is St. Cassian (Munster coll), which is in a Julian carbonate limestone in the Cassian Formation of Italy. It is the type species of Hoferia.

It was recombined as Hoferia duplicata by Bittner (1895) and Scarlato and Starobogatov (1979).
