Taxonomy
Bohemiella was named by Schuchert and Cooper (1931) [Sepkoski's age data: Cm lMid Cm u Sepkoski's reference number: 1,538]. Its type is Orthis romingeri.

It was assigned to Bohemiellidae by Geyer and Mergl (1997) and Williams et al. (2000); and to Orthida by Sepkoski (2002).
