J. Colmenar et al. 2014 | Gently to strongly dorsibiconvex shell, transversely elliptical to circular in outline and with a short hinge line. Ornamentation finely costellate with ribs curved posterolaterally to intersect the hinge line. Ventral muscle field large, with flabellate diductor scars with short and rectangular adductor scars normally not enclosed anteriorly by diductors. Dorsal adductor scars quadripartite, with their posterior pair smaller than the anterior pair. Cardinal process strong with ovoid base and with trilobed myophore. |
