Taxonomy
Borgerscottia gerryi was named by Kozur (1985). Its type specimen is P 1509/Ko 1980 I-602 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Mihalovits quarry, sample Bükk 10/1980, which is in a Wuchiapingian carbonate limestone in the Nagyvisnyo Formation of Hungary.
