Heckerocrinus neglectus was named by Doweld (2012). It is not extant. It is the type species of Heckerocrinus, Heckerocrinus neglectus.

Synonyms
  • Bockia neglecta was named by Hecker (1940). It is not extant. Its type specimen is Hecker’s collection 179/3 [Gorny Museum, Mine Inst. St.-Petersburg]; Right bank of Volkhov River, between Velsy and Petropavlovskoe; Ordovician (Kukruse stage = Sandbian). It is the type species of Bockia.

    It was replaced with Heckerocrinus neglectus by Doweld (2012).
