Taxonomy
Acanthoscapha takacsae was named by Kozur (1985). Its type specimen is C 2351/Ko 1980 I-527 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Nagyvisnyó Railway Cut 1, sample BK 3, which is in a Moscovian carbonate limestone in Hungary.
