Blattinopsis americana

Taxonomy
Oryctoblattina americana was named by Handlirsch (1906). Its type specimen is USNM 38647, a forewing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Willis Creek near Steubenville, which is in a Stephanian terrestrial shale in the Conemaugh Formation of Ohio.

It was recombined as Blattinopsis americana by Hörnschemeyer and Stapf (2001).
