Blattinopsis (Blattinopsis) antoniana was named by Kukalová (1959). It is an impression. Its type locality is Svatý Antonín mine sawmill exposure, Zbýšov, which is in an Asselian mire/swamp siliciclastic in the Padochov Formation of the Czech Republic.
It was recombined as Blattinopsis antoniana by Hörnschemeyer and Stapf (2001).
