Blattinopsis (Blattinopsis) martynovae was named by Kukalová (1959). It is an impression. Its type locality is Říčany, southern bank of ravine, which is in an Asselian lacustrine claystone in the Padochov Formation of the Czech Republic.
It was recombined as Blattinopsis martynovae by Hörnschemeyer and Stapf (2001).
