Taxonomy

Theridion berendti was named by Marusik and Penney (2004).

Synonyms

Mizalia globosa was named by Koch and Berendt (1854). It is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Baltic Amber, Berendt collection, which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in Poland.

It was replaced with Theridion berendti by Marusik and Penney (2004) and Dunlop et al. (2013).
