Schimperella acanthocercus
Taxonomy
Schimperella acanthocercus was named by Taylor et al. (2001). Its type specimen is NIGP 126357, a carapace, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Dahai village, Dingxiao town, Xingyi County, which is in a Longobardian marine limestone in the Falang Formation of China.
