It was recombined as Protogrammoceras celebratum by Meister (1986), Blau and Meister (1991) and Géczy and Meister (1998); it was recombined as Protogrammoceras (Protogrammoceras) celebratum by Meister (1989); it was recombined as Fuciniceras celebratum by Meister and Friebe (2003) and Dommergues et al. (2011).
