Taxonomy
Anasinopa leakeyi was named by Savage (1965). Its type specimen is BMNH M. 19081, a partial skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Rusinga Island, which is in a Burdigalian terrestrial horizon in Kenya.
