Taxonomy
Craspedisia yapchoontecki was named by Penney (2012). Its type specimen is NHM IA 186, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Dominican amber, La Bucara (BMNH coll), which is in a Burdigalian/Langhian terrestrial amber in the Dominican Republic.
