Taxonomy
Rosamygale grauvogeli was named by Selden and Gall (1992). Its type specimen is IGULP AR11, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Bust, which is in an Aegean delta plain claystone/siltstone in the Grès à Voltzia Formation of France. It is the type species of Rosamygale.
