Mesotarbus angustus

Taxonomy
Geraphrynus angustus was named by Pocock (1911). Its type specimen is BMNH In. 31258 and is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Coseley, near Dudley (Egginton coll), which is in a Westphalian B interdistributary bay shale in the United Kingdom.

It was recombined as Mesotarbus angustus by Petrunkevitch (1953) and Dunlop et al. (2013).
