Pleophrynus verrucosus

Taxonomy
Kreischeria verrucosa was named by Pocock (1911). It is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Craigola Vein, southwest of Glyn-coch Farm, which is in a Westphalian D terrestrial siliciclastic in the Craigola Seam Formation of the United Kingdom. It is the type species of Acrokreischeria.

It was recombined as Acrokreischeria verrucosa by Petrunkevitch (1953); it was recombined as Pleophrynus verrucosus by Dunlop et al. (2013).
