Aegoceras bispinatum was named by Geyer (1886). It is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Microderoceras bispinatum by Bremer (1965); it was recombined as Epideroceras bispinatum by Alkaya and Meister (1995); it was recombined as Eoderoceras bispinatum by Zaitsev and Ippolitov (2023).
