Crocodylus falconensis
Taxonomy
Crocodylus falconensis was named by Scheyer et al. (2013). Its type specimen is AMU-CURS-300, a skull (Almost complete skull with mandibles), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Norte Casa Chiguaje (Crocodylus falconensis type locality), which is in a Pliocene terrestrial sandstone in the San Gregorio Formation of Venezuela.
