Taxonomy
Haydenoides was named by Zhan (1979) [Sepkoski's age data: P u]. Its type is Haydenoides orientalis.

It was synonymized subjectively with Spinomarginifera by Williams et al. (2000).

It was assigned to Strophomenida by Sepkoski (2002); and to Marginiferini by Shen and Zhang (2008).
