Diagnosis
ReferenceDiagnosis
A. Prieto-Marquez et al. 2013Lambeosaurine hadrosaurid differing from all other hadrosaurid taxa, except Aralosaurus tuberiferus, in having rostrodorsal region expanded in the form of prominent subrectangular flange that rises vertically above rostroventral process. Canardia garonnensis differs from A. tuberiferus in displaying subhorizontal (i.e., parallel to the caudal segment of tooth row) ectopterygoid shelf and prefrontal with dorsomedial flange and narrow rostroventral process.
