| S. A. Northrop 1939 | A genus apparently allied to Brachyprion and to Cymostrophia. As in the latter genus, the thin shell of Idioglyptus is thrown into numerous transverse rugae which are confined to the interspaces between the prominent costellae. The hinge line, as in Brachyprion, is denticulate or crenulate for one-third to half the distance from beak to cardinal extremities. |
