Rhinobatos beurleni
Taxonomy
Rhinobatos beurleni was named by Silva Santos (1968). It is not extant. Its type specimen is No. 2510 D e V, a partial skeleton (lack anterior and posterior and lateral extremities). Its type locality is Chapada do Araripe [Romualdo Fm.] (general), which is in an Aptian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal shale in the Romualdo Formation of Brazil.
