Liaobatrachus beipiaoensis
Taxonomy
Mesophryne beipiaoensis was named by Gao and Wang (2001). Its type specimen is IVPP V11721, a skeleton (nearly complete skeleton with impressions exposed as part and counterpart), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Heitizigou, which is in a Barremian/Aptian lacustrine shale in the Yixian Formation of China.
It was recombined as Liaobatrachus beipiaoensis by Dong et al. (2013).
