Nishida 1969Bellerophontid gastropods having the colabral undulations on the upper whorl surface and a strongly thickened inductura that may be pad-like in shape and is not expanded far out of the aperture; slit narrow and shallow, giving rise to a moderately high dorsal ridge; selenizone on the crest narrow and obscure; phaneromphalous; ornament consisting of colabrals and spirals but colabrals only in some specimens; upper part of the lateral slopes well flattened and nearly vertical.
