Taxonomy
Xiphodolamia serrata was named by Adnet et al. (2009). Its type specimen is ACL-ANG1, a tooth, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Santa Clara-Dombe Grande, which is in a Priabonian marine marl in Angola.
