Rafaeliana maxima
Taxonomy
Rafaelia maxima was named by Nel et al. (2005). Its type specimen is WDC-CCFB-001, an exoskeleton, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Crato (WDC collection), which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large carbonate in the Crato Formation of Brazil. It is the type species of Rafaelia, Rafaeliana.
It was recombined as Rafaeliana maxima by Nel et al. (2006).
