Ardatermes kudaludi was named by Kaddumi (2005). Its type specimen is ERMNH 221-1, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. It is the type species of Ardatermes.

It was corrected as Ardatermes hudaludi by Kaddumi (2007).
