Jianchuania problematica

Bivalvia - Pectinida - Oxytomidae

Taxonomy
Pteria problematica was named by Chen (1976). Its type specimen is NIGP 26438 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Jinding, Lanping County, which is in an Alaunian marine horizon in the Baijizu Formation of China. It is the type species of Jianchuania.

It was recombined as Jianchuania problematica by Chen and Chen (1980).
