Taxonomy
Ramiphyllum firmatum was named by Wu and Zhang (1979). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is 701f25, Jichong, Ciwu district, Zhongzan region, Batang County, which is in a Serpukhovian carbonate limestone in the Xuchika Formation of China. It is the type species of Ramiphyllum.
