Taxonomy
Neoconophyllia xiaanensis was named by Deng and Kong (1984). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Xia'an, Zhenfeng (Chen-feng), which is in a Longobardian platform/shelf-margin reef reef rocks in the Zhuganpo Formation of China.
