Taxonomy
Productus delawarii was named by Marcou (1858). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Foot of Delaware Mount on affluent of Topofki Creek, which is in a Pennsylvanian carbonate limestone in Oklahoma.
It was recombined as Linoproductus delawarii by Branson (1948).
