Taxonomy
Halorites pamiricus was named by Shevyrev (1990). Its type specimen is PIN 4183/31 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Upper part of West Igrimyuz River, Pamir Mountains (upper mb), which is in a Sevatian marine horizon in the Igrimyuz Formation of Tajikistan.
