Taxonomy
Paratrachyceras ulynense was named by Bychkov (1973). Its type specimen is TsGM 60/8301 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Vtoraya Sentyabrskaya river (verchojanicum zone, TsGM coll), which is in a Lacian marine siliciclastic in the Russian Federation.
